Big Mike loved golf! It was where he fostered relationships with those he cared about. He loved the quality time spent on courses with people who shared the ‘love for the game’. It was great exercise for him and brought him some respite from the reality of cancer after he was re-diagnosed in 2020.

Not only was golf a big part of his personal life, but as his career in the turf industry. We want to honor his memory by continuing all the conversations he had on the course about his battle with CRC. He knew they were a part of the solution that ends CRC as we know it – one conversation shared with those who matter to us.

The BMBL Invitational is our way of keeping all of those conversations alive.

BMBL further values the golfing environment because it is so conducive to casual conversations between players of various ages and demographics, allowing the message to be widely amplified. BMBL strives to help every participant to walk away from the tournament knowing more than they did when they arrived. Our goal is that every participant leaves with not only an exceptional golf experience but with knowledge that can be easily spread to all those they love, causing the message to ripple.
