The future is inevitable, but you can change its path at any time.

Becki Muhlbeier

"Through Michael’s efforts during his battle, I learned about signs, symptoms, and prevention opportunities that I didn’t know before."

Becki Mulhbeier is a force in the agricultural community just recently retiring from a 45 year career with Wilbur Ellis. As a leader in the agricultural industry, Becki served many roles in her career including sales, branch management, safety, regulatory, supply chain, and pro-markets where she met Michael.

Becki recalls Michael, her last supervisor at Wilbur Ellis as the most appreciative supervisor in her entire career. His kindness, positive attitude and will power to keep moving forward leaves a legacy for us all to aspire to emulate.

“Michael was an inspiration during his battle with Colorectal Cancer. Losing Michael at such a young age and learning that the prevalence of CRC found in those under the age of 45 motivates me to make Big Mike’s Bottom Line’s message a priority.  I currently have 2 relatives battling this same disease.

As a board member I hope that my skill set can offer a contribution to our work to educate folks of the importance of screening and help make folks comfortable to discuss poop with their physicians. Through Michael’s efforts during his battle, I learned about signs, symptoms, and prevention opportunities that I didn’t know before.  I will continue to advocate to others to make the commitment to maintain a healthy diet and exercise as I will do in my retirement.  Every little thing I know will help us eradicate CRC in our lifetime.”
