Colorectal cancer is a devastating disease that is affecting younger people. The disease’s devastating effects can be eliminated or mitigated by routine and regular screening, awareness, and prevention measures. The problem is, we don’t talk about it enough.
As a Board Member, I would like to see the organization focus on public service announcements and a multi-faceted social media
and print campaign to bring awareness and screening to every adult and persuade them to screen. I would like to see the organization partner with companies that make home testing and see if those companies can help us spread the news.
